Odd Culture

A look at what's on across the group — every activation, takeover and standing programme, in one place. — Week ending 28 June 2026 —

Coming Soon · Bar Bruno

EatClub, coming soon to Bar Bruno.

Onboarding is being set up now at Bar Bruno and Bistro Grenier. Once it's live, guests get 30% off the whole bill, 3–4pm Monday to Saturday — walk-ins only, claimed through the EatClub app.

It's an off-peak demand lever: it'll fill the quiet 3–4pm window without touching the rest of trade. Guests claim the deal in the EatClub app and pay with their EatClub card — all integrated through the POS, so nothing manual at your end. Walk-ins only (no bookings), capped at four tables and four guests per table. The SOP's ready to read ahead of go-live so the floor handles it cleanly from day one.

The Old Fitzroy Hotel

Christmas in July is live, and comedy is back Monday.

The Christmas in July campaign is now live across socials, monthly comedy returns this Monday with 55 already booked, the Grifter feature and tee are running, and the winter standards hold. The Young Henrys fireplace covers the Fitz too.

Spike · 25 July

Christmas in July, live now.

The Bistro takeover at the Old Fitz is on Saturday 25 July, and the campaign is now live across socials — ads went up from 24 June.

This is the one to have front of mind. It's aimed squarely at EOFY corporate bookings, and the slots go quickly once the campaign's out. If anyone mentions a Christmas party — or a work do — point them at this. Mulled wine, the full roast, and a proper pudding: the room's set up for it.

Father's Day, locked in.

Father's Day at the Fitz is confirmed — event date Sunday 6 September, with the campaign going live from 6 July.

The offer's now confirmed and the activation sheet is going out to the team. Nothing public to push until 6 July, but it's worth knowing it's locked so it's on the radar for any early booking conversations — the September long-lead enquiries start surprisingly soon.

Spike · Duke · PC

King Street Crawl, 12 July.

The cross-precinct crawl returns to King St on Sunday 12 July. Both rooms in play; the campaign's been live since 10 June.

This one brings consistent foot traffic across both venues, so it's worth keeping the date in mind for any private-booking conversations that might run up against it. The poster's out and live — the entertainment detail fills in closer to the day.

Bastille Day runs across OCN and Bistro Grenier from 15–17 July — the offer's confirmed and the activation sheet is going out to the team.

Three days of it, going live to the public from 2 July. Worth knowing now so it's on the radar for booking conversations across the Newtown end of the precinct — the French-leaning Bistro is the natural home for it.
